“Painting from nature is not copying the object; it is realizing one’s sensations”.
—Paul Cézanne

I’ve always known from an early age that wildlife and nature encompass my everyday life. As a creative artist I have learned to see what others may not or miss, and feel the need and desire to put it down in some way and share it. Painting detail in fur and feathers can bring so much life into a painting. Every painting is a learning process, nature and inspiration surrounding us all.

I was born in Wiesbaden, Germany and moved to California as a child and began a lifelong passion for all animals and wildlife. Being a self-taught wildlife artist, I believe my best training has come from being outdoors and studying the works of Carl Brenders and Dino Paravano.

I have participated in several art exhibitions including Art-A-Fair Laguna Beach, Laguna Beach City Hall Exhibition and Festival of Arts- Laguna Beach.

Conservation concerns have become very important to me and my artwork is used to endorse World Wildlife Fund, White Lion Sanctuary and ASPCA.
